Inspired by the Karst plateau above Trieste, this is the largest room in the house: warm tones of wood, stone and terracotta and space for a small family.

The Carso Room has a double bed and, in the sitting area, a sofa bed for two: it suits a family with two children or three friends travelling together. We can set up a cot on request.
The colours are warmer than in the other rooms: wood, sand-coloured linen and terracotta details, like the stone houses in the villages of the Karst. A small table with two chairs is handy for breakfast in the room or for planning the day with the map spread out.
The private bathroom has a bath with shower, and there is a mini fridge for water and snacks for the little ones. If you are travelling with children, just ask us for ideas: from beach days at Barcola to the park of Miramare Castle, Trieste has plenty for families.
